Fairport JV swimmers win two

In a rare Saturday meet at home, Fairport started strong with a first place finish in the 200 medley relay en route to a 95-46 victory over Gates Chili. Arshia Zarei, James Rafoth, Zakk Vice, and Ted Rakiewicz swam a 2:15.78 to touch first.

Coach Steven Hawkins-Rusch watched as Sean Keyes swam to first place victories in the 100 and 500 free, and Vice placed first in the 200 free and 200 IM. Rafoth and Zarei went 1-2 in the 50 free, and Jonah King touched second in the 50 fly, following Zarei to the wall.

Jeff Castellano showed off his diving abilities with a first place finish. Fellow diver Steven Chan took second.

To close out the meet, Raiders Charles Wierzbicki, Ben Dengler, Mike Lopes, and Keyes swam to a first place finish in the 400 free relay.
