Fairport 94, Gates-Chili 63

Starting the meet, the 200 medley relay team of Brenna O'Neill, Andrea
Hageman, Emily Gardner and Morgan Reisch swam to first place, with teammates
Meghan Ingerick, April Miller, Katelyn Webster and Carly Callan right behind
in second.
Second event, 200-yard freestyle ended with a 1-2-3 sweep for Fairport, with
Erin McGraw taking first, Nicole Stuver second, and Tiffany Chiang third.
Not to be outdone, the 200 individual medley also ended in a Fairport 1-2-3
sweep, led by Lauren Dufault in first, Staci Woytash second and Susan Yang
in third.
The 50 free saw Callan swimming in third, Miller fourth, and Carlyn Robby
fifth. Score going into diving was Fairport 44, Gates Chili 17.
The divers continued to rake in points for Fairport as Jennifer Chiang came
in first, with Ellen Whelehan coming in third, and Stephanie Pratt taking
fourth. Score after diving was Fairport 55, Gates Chili 22.
Turning back to swimming, Reisch took second in the 100 yard fly and O'Neill
took third. Webster swam exhibition. The 100 free saw Hageman in first,
Stephanie Gross took second, with Gardner swimming exhibition. In the
distance event, Sarah Lakehal-Ayat took first in the 500 free, Ingerick came
in second and Carrie Ostrom swam exhibition. In the 200 free relay, teams of
Hageman, Yang, Webster and McGraw, Gross, Chiang, Miller and Dufault, and
Reisch Callan, Robboy and Stuver all swam exhibition.
Devina Tyagi sprinted to a first place finish in the 100 back, with Heather
Moore and Staci Woytash swimming exhibition. The 100 breast saw Ester Shin
swimming to a second place finish, Kelly O'Keefe fourth, and Hageman
swimming exhibition.
The meet finished with Fairport swimming three teams exhibition in the 400
freestyle relay. Teams were Lakehal-Ayat, Gross, Tyagi and Moore, O'Neill,
Shin, Stuver, and Gardner, and McGraw, Ostrom, Ingerick, and Woytash. Final
score, Fairport 94, Gates-Chili 63.
