Wood sets 2 Fairport HS Pool Records By John Kaemmerlen January 21, 2005 - The Fairport High School swimming and diving team hosted Gates Chili for their traditional "Senior Salute" meet. Then Red Raider seniors Nate Morales, Tim Jacobs, Jeff Kaemmerlen, and Jeff Wood were introduced and honored by the coaches and the co-captains of the Fairport Girls' team, Marlys Fuqua and Clare Ostrom. The four seniors delighted the audience with synchronized flips into the pool. The Red Raiders opened with Jake Fisher, Hans Feng, Dylan Scheemaker, and Aram Salehi winning the 200 yard medley relay by 0.64 seconds. Jim Beaudry, Jerry Woytash, and Jacobs swept the top 3 positions in a closely contested 200 yard freestyle. Scheemaker placed 2nd in the 200 yard individual medley in 2:22.28.
