December 10, 2004 - The Fairport High School varsity swimming and diving team opened its 2004-05 season with an away meet at Brighton High School. The team is coached by Mike Kennedy, Mike Fortner, Dave Salmon, and Steve Hawkins-Rusch. Co-captains this year are seniors Tim Jacobs, Jeff Wood, and Jeff Kaemmerlen. The team has a nice balance of experience and newcomers with 4 seniors, 5 juniors, 3 sophomores, and 4 freshmen.
