Fairport, NY - On Sept. 16, Fairport hosted Eastridge. In the 200 medley relay the FHS team of Heather Moore, Erin McGraw, Stephanie Yorio and Lindsay Burris began the charge with a winning time. They were quickly followed by teammates Erin Legg, Jen Kaminska, Marlys Fuqua and Kim Kenny, who placed second.

Fairport continued their dominance in the 200 free, sweeping the top three spots. Melanie Roberts posted an impressive first place; Clare Ostrom captured a best time with second. Sarah Lakehal-Ayat placed third. In the 200 IM, Erin McGraw, Lauren Dufault and Suzanne Flynn duplicated Fairport's earlier results, placing first, second and third, respectively.

Kendra Hogg earned a best time and the top spot for Fairport in the 50 free with a strong showing. Jen Kaminska and Carrie Kroll extended Fairport's lead, capturing third and fifth places.

Fairport's diving team showed depth and strength and added to Fairport's overall scoring capabilities. Following the diving competition, Fairport's Legg captured first place in the 100 fly. Moore and Kaminska swam exhibition. Emily Vaughn captured second place for Fairport in the 100 free, while teammates Marlys Fuqua and Carly Callan swam exhibition. For the 500 free, all Fairport athletes of Default, Ostrom and Flynn swam exhibition. Both Dufault and Ostrom posted seasonal best times in the event.

The 200 free relays allowed Fairport to showcase team diversity, as they placed first, third and fourth. Dufault, McGraw, Fuqua and Vaughn took first. Callan, Hogg, Kroll and Kim Kenny placed third overall. In an unusual display of commitment, Fairport's diving team of Merry Schreiber, Becky Kraft, Gretchen Schroeder and Becky Bersanti captured fourth for the She- Sharks. Erin Legg swam well for Fairport, capturing first in the 100 back. Lakehal-Ayat captured fourth and Moore swam exhibition.

In the 100 breast, Roberts and Lindsay Burris continued Fairport's sweep, placing 1-2. Stephanie Yorio swam exhibition but posted a best time. The Sharks finished the 400 free in first with the team of Flynn, Ostrom, Roberts and Hogg. Fairport's team of Lakehal-Ayat, Kenny, Kroll and Vaughn swam exhibition. The meet posted 12 overall best times for the varsity She-Sharks.
