The Fairport High School swim teams visited Honeoye Falls-Lima high school for the first time ever last week. The Fairport varsity improved its record to 3-0 with a win by the score of 99-79.

The varsity swimmers made their mark by setting four pool records. Freshman Jon Roberts set pool records in his two individual events, the 200 individual medley and the 100 breast.

Junior Jim Wood set a third pool record in the 100 backstroke. The 400 freestyle relay team of Tim Stockton, Jim Wood, Matt McGraw, and Pete Kaemmerlen established a fourth pool record in a close race in which the Honeoye Falls-Lima relay team also bettered the previous standard.
