“The Girl's Varsity Swim Team once again had an undefeated Section 5 season. they also claimed the State Champion title for the third successive year after victorious state meets against New Hartford, Baldwinsville and Newburg. School records were made by junior Tina Lorenson in the 200 freestyle, junior Karin Mihal in the 100 fly and sophomore diver, Bridgette Gaffney, for the highest JV score. The entire team, with captains Jennifer Lyons and Alison Clark and diving captain Kelly Muldoon got "psyched" for meets with spaghetti dinners and sleepovers.”
