From the 1986 yearbook:

This year, the Sharks posted a 13-1 dual meet record, losing for the first time in  three years, to Lockport 89-83. They recovered however, to win the sectional title for the 6th year in a row. Led by senior co-captains Sean Kent and Dean Keller, the Sharks placed 12 swimmers in the finals and 7 in the consolation finals to amass a total of 257 points, five points short of the sectional record. Victories were recorded in the 200 Medley Relay with Sean Kent, Scott Kent, Mike Roscoe, and Steve Galloway and also in the 100 backstroke with Sean Kent. The Sharks have only three seniors on the team and will have many swimmers returning next year.
