The fact that there are two 1982 girl's teams is not a mistake. High school girl's swimming used to be a winter sport in New York state. I believe it was this way up to and including the 1981-1982 school year. Then girl's swimming was changed to a fall sport. so, on my site 1982W took place in the 1981-1982 school year and 1982F took place in the 1982-1983 school year. For teams after 1982, the year is the year in which all of the meets took place. Since swimming is now a fall sport, this means that the 2005 team swum during the 2005-2006 school year. So, a senior on the 2005 girl's team graduates in 2006.
